Welcome to the 2023 LETR Final Leg News Page

With just 7 months to go until the commencement of the 2023 Law Enforcement Torch Run Final Leg, it's time to starting pushing information about the event out to you.

This site will be used to publish communications from the Team Captain, as well as administrative issues that may impact on you as a team member.

You'll also be able to use it as a means of asking questions of the Final Leg Management Group.

Let's start with an introduction of that group:

MARK McCORKLE  -  TEAM CAPTAIN

Mark McCorkle is the Team Captain of the 2023 LETR Final Leg team.  He was elected to the LETR International Executive Council in 2022 and has been appointed as the Chair of the Final leg Planning Committee.  He is a retired Commander from the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department and now lives in Idaho.

GREG DAWSON  -  ROUTE LEADER

Greg Dawson is the Vice-Chair of the Final Leg Planning Committee and will be the Route Leader for the 2023 LETR Final Leg.  Greg works for the Fayetteville Police Department in Arkansas and has been involved with the Torch Run for the past 20 years.

SCOTT WHYTE - LOGISTICS MANAGER

Scott Whyte is the Chairman of the LETR International Executive Council and is a retired Detective Superintendent from the New South Wales Police Force in Sydney, Australia.
