Payment for additional Final Leg Patches

 

PURCHASING ADDITIONAL FINAL LEG PATCHES

We published a post two weeks ago telling you about the opportunity to purchase additional Final Leg patches.

You will all receive two patches - one attached (by velcro) to your backpack and a spare when you arrive in Berlin.  But you can purchase additional patches if you wish to do so.  The patches are priced at USD$10 each.

We have set up (well Kami has) a payment page on the Fundraising Website where you can make the purchase.  Payments will only be available by credit card and you will receive the additional patches upon your arrival in Berlin.

You will be taken to the Final Leg Patch Payment Page where you click on the 'Make a Donation' button

Clicking on that button brings you to this screen

Click on the OTHER button and enter a US Dollar amount in the amount field that matches how many patches you want - ie:  $10 for 1 patch, $30 for 3 patches etc.

Complete the remainder of the form with your credit card details.

You should note that we have a limited number of patches for sale and it really is first in best dressed.  If demand outstrips supply, we will do our best to get extra patches manufactured, but we are not sure at this time whether that will be possible - so get you order in early to be make sure you get what you need.

UNIFORM KIT PAYMENTS

COST AND PROCESS

The Final Leg Planning Committee has done the sums and worked out the costing for the Torch Runner Uniform Kits for the 2023 LETR Final Leg.

The Uniform Kit, which comprises a backpack, two pairs of running shorts, four running shirts, two polo shirts, a lightweight jacket, four pairs of socks (to be supplied in Berlin) and a baseball cap will cost each LETR Program USD$275.  This price includes all shipping, handling and customs duties expenses.

The payment process is as easy as we could make it, utilising the Fundraising Page website to handle the transactions.  We request that all programs make their payment by credit card.  If there are difficulties in doing so, please contact Kami Delameter from Special Olympics International (kdelameter@specialolympics.com) to make alternative arrangements.

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PAYMENT FOR UNIFORM KITS ONLY APPLIES TO TORCH RUNNER MEMBERS OF THE FINAL LEG TEAM.

An email with these details will be sent out to the LETR / SO Program staff listed as having nominated the Torch Runner and being responsible for making these payments.
